Marguerite Shirley Fambro Schutz, 90, died Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Estia Care in Humble, Texas. She was born on January 24, 1925, in Oak Creek, Colorado to Edna Sands Fambro and George W. Fambro. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Billy George Fambro and daughter Jacklyn Schutz Baird.
Marguerite is survived by John Schutz and wife Kelley, of Conroe, Jack Edward Schutz, Jr. of Round Rock, Janet Moon of Humble, Janis Henry of Conroe, and James Schutz and wife Helen, of Houston. She has eleven grandchildren, Raymond Hettinger, Kyle Hettinger,...

Marguerite Shirley Fambro Schutz, 90, died Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Estia Care in Humble, Texas. She was born on January 24, 1925, in Oak Creek, Colorado to Edna Sands Fambro and George W. Fambro. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Billy George Fambro and daughter Jacklyn Schutz Baird.
Marguerite is survived by John Schutz and wife Kelley, of Conroe, Jack Edward Schutz, Jr. of Round Rock, Janet Moon of Humble, Janis Henry of Conroe, and James Schutz and wife Helen, of Houston. She has eleven grandchildren, Raymond Hettinger, Kyle Hettinger, Greg Moon, Chad Henry, Christina Baxter, Aaron Schutz, Derek Schutz, Heather Schutz, Holly Schutz, Ryan Trimm and Wade Trimm and twelve great- grandchildren, many of whom attended her 90th birthday celebration in January.
Marguerite grew up in Breckenridge, Texas and in high school met her future husband, Jack Edward Schutz. After marrying Jack in July 1942, Marguerite became an army wife moving frequently and returning to Texas many times in the next fifteen years. She finally settled in Austin, Texas and lived there until 2001 when she retired and moved to April Sound in Conroe, Texas. She moved to Kingwood in 2011 where she spent her final years near her daughter Janet Moon.
Marguerite's professional career spanned over thirty years primarily in the retail and credit industries. She worked for fifteen years at Capitol Anesthesiology in Austin finally retiring when she was 75 years old. Marguerite loved to travel and read. Family was very important to Marguerite and she was a lifetime member of Fambrough Family Society, having participated in many reunions with her Fambrough cousins. She was proud of her six children and their families and often spent holidays and vacations with them.
Memorial services will be held Friday, April 10, 2015 at 12:30pm in Cashner Colonial Chapel. In Lieu of flowers the family as requested donations be made to April Sound Church (67 April Wind S.
